For noise alerts, you could use the noise level on the Homeluten app or Chrome extension as the alert. Using the following example:

Red means the noise is at alarming level. In this case, this address is next to major highways, thus the Traffic rating is Busy/Red. This address is also directly under the flight path, thus the Flight Noise is also rated Busy/Red.

And because of the highway and flight noise, the overall Soundscore is also measured at Red level.

For commercial/industry category, they are being represented by the Neighborhood ratings.

We do have plans to add US railroads to the map, so you will be able to see the railroads directly on the map when narrowing down your home search.
