Hi All, following up on elevation options. There are services that can approximate elevation based on GPS coordinates and/or street address. While it is not perfect, it is rather accurate at least in my area. Perhaps your extension could pull such data from Redfin and extract elevation data using a service such as:

homeluten23das Hi there, great suggestion, this might be an easy implementation we can do. We believe our geolocation service provider already has elevation data, we can implement it in a way that show a similar dialog with elevations when you click on the map.

We should be able to work on this in the next week or two. Thanks for the suggestions!

New requests:

Census data age groups
Ride services available at a property? Could query Uber, and Lyft to see if they will deliver drivers to a specific home. This could be a big deal to people who need ride share, and need to rule out homes without such services.
Restaurant delivery services available at a property? Could Query UberEats, Doordash, Postmates, etc. to see if they will deliver food to a specific home. This could be a big deal to people who need food delivery, and need to rule out homes without such services.
Grocery delivery services available at a property? Could query Instacart.

Hi there, this is to let you know that we've added the Elevation check on the Redfin map, you can right-click on any place on the map and there will be a popup that shows the elevation information.

RE: multi-polygon search. We've tried really hard but we were unable to hijack Redfin's search drawing process, so this would not be possible to implement right now, sorry about it.

RE: New Requests
We've previously debated if we wanted to ingest the age data, but we eventually decided against it because the data is not quite indicative and useful compared to some of the other data.

For delivery services, we will see if they have API for us to pull, if so, we can add the information to the same right-click context menu.

Hi All,

Thank you for continuing to improve the product and be responsive as you are.

The right click elevation data is great, thank you. I do like how the pop up elevation data is persistent for multiple properties, it allows one to easily compare multiple property elevations on the map.

Would it also be possible to integrate the elevation data into the property detail page as well, ie once one enters the fully detailed page about the property, perhaps the elevation data could be in the homeluten left hand menu (enable street view/show real-time traffic/etc menu)? Having the data here as well would be useful.

Too bad on the multi-polygon but I understand you can only do what redfin will allow.

Thanks on the other issues as well, esp. the delivery service areas.

Thanks for the suggestion. We do plan to bring some additional information to the property detail page, including the elevation data. We will be working on it over the next few weeks and once it is available we will push an update to the extension.

Homeluten233 Hi there, sorry about the late reply. We are going through some changes within our development team so we do expect slower than normal response time for the next few weeks.

The income and racial distribution features should continue to be available, we didn't remove those features. Which platform were you having issues with them? Was it Chrome Extension or the Web App?

RE: New request: Is it possible to provide shelter and/or affordable housing distribution?
We need to do a bit of investigation and see if we are able to support those two datasets, the challenge here is probably going to be able to find a national dataset.

As always, we appreciate your support and suggestions, and we expect to bring back our normal app development within the next few weeks.
