To answer your question, our data vendor is https://offenders.io/ and they source the data directly from NSOPW, the State agency website, and non-official sources. They are one of the most accurate vendors out there for sex offender data.
The reason that you are seeing this person's location is different than NSOPW is because:
1) This person moves a lot, and most of their locations are non-mappable (as also mentioned on the State website). The location is approximated by the zip code.
2) Upon further checking our different data snapshots, this person has moved 3+ times in the last 6 months, and the current location you see on our map was from about 2 weeks ago, it looks like they moved again within the last 2 weeks. The reason that you are seeing non-realtime data is that we use cached snapshots of our datasets for performance considerations as we are performing heavy large-area GIS queries all the time. If you need real-time data that is 100% accurate, you may consider using our vendor https://offenders.io/ directly.
